Andromeda – large Garden Ornament
Daughter of King Cepheus of Joppa and Cassiopeia. Chained to a rock by her father on the advice of an oracle and left to her death, she was rescued by Perseus as he was returning home with the head of Medusa.
When Poseidon placed the images of Cepheus and Cassiopeia amongst the stars, Athene responded by placing that of Andromeda in a more honorable constellation.
